Workman Wins Best Comedy Prize

Michael Workman Wins Best Comedy Prize - Adelaide Fringe Festival 2012
Michael Workman has taken out the best comedy prize at the Adelaide Fringe in his debut season at Australia’s biggest Fringe Festival.
After only five shows in the Rhino Room Michael managed to impress judges with his show Mercy. Set in Castro’s Cuba the show is story set to an original score and illustrations by Workman.
Mercy is set to open in Melbourne next week where he won the best newcomer in 2011.
The show had received rave reviews with rip it up saying, “If Daniel Kitson could draw, sing and play piano then he could be Michael Workman. Mercy is a show not to be missed”.
